I know a lot of you guys were excited to read about my experience with a new yoga studio, but due to some scheduling conflicts, it still hasn't happened yet! I know that once I pursue it, though, my progress will be even better. I also decided to do a separate post on yoga, anyway.
The workout that I'm doing right now is the same one from the original Mission Britney Body, just increased in some areas. It goes like this...
-6 miles on the elliptical, high resistance
-3 miles on the bike, high resistance...and then an additional mile for cool-down (low resistance)
-Stretch (a really, really good stretch...should last 15 about minutes)
-Crunches for 4 full songs, no break (should be at least 1000 crunches)
-Butt-Ups for 4 full songs, no break
-Planks: 30 seconds, 45 seconds, 60 seconds, 45 seconds, 30 seconds (5 second break in between each plank)
-40 squats with 15 pound weight
-40 laterals on each side with 15 pound weight
-100 reps with the 5 pound weights in each hand...half up and down, half in and out (alternate after 25)
My goal is to lose around 10 more pounds, give or take. Hopefully, after mastering this increased workout plan of mine, I can get there.
I also just registered for The Color Run in Baltimore...I am so excited!! To find a location near you, just visit their website: thecolorrun.com

Combine 1 medium head of broccoli, already steamed (cut into small pieces), 1 small carrot, 3/4 cup cheddar cheese, 1 pressed garlic clove, 3 beaten eggs, 1 cup of bread crumbs, 1 tablespoon of Italian seasoning, and salt and pepper in a large bowl. Shape into bite-sized balls and bake at 350 degrees for 18-20 minutes!
Of course, I love a good pair of tennis shoes, a tight-fitting sports bra, durable socks, a cool zip-up, a reliable gym bag...I could go on forever. Here are some of my faves!
Well, I'm off to the gym with Amber, and then I'll be back to the house to cook us a yummy dinner! Good luck with your workout goals, and I hope you use my suggestions!
