I promise there are some good posts coming. I have been so busy trying to juggle my internships, host my guests, go to class, and do my homework. And not to mention...this weekend WE BEAT ALABAMA! Seriously the best weekend of my life. ESPN College GameDay, Katy Perry, a great win...alright, but back to the blog. I wanted to pop in and tell you a few things today that are new and exciting.
1.) The portfolio tab on the site has been updated. You can now follow my blog on my sister's photography website, and next week you will be able to follow the brand new Go Global blog that I've been working on for quite some time now!
2.) I changed the color scheme on the blog if you haven't noticed. I was just thinking it was time for a (subtle) change, and this looked clean. The idea to make a change popped into my head because I just started working on designing a website for someone, which is my other news. I am now taking on yet another job and designing and managing websites and blogs for people and businesses. If this is something you are interested in, or you know someone who would be interested, just leave me a message on the contact form. I'm happy to chat.
3.) Remember my last post about Cosmopolitan? Remember my post over the summer about our guest speaker, Stacy Nadeau, who participated in the Dove campaign and talked to us about natural beauty? I got my first issue of Cosmopolitan in the mail today, and guess who was on the cover?
If you read the Cosmo blog post, you'll see that I'm doing another giveaway contest. Technically, I advertised it as a first come first serve thing, but I'm not going to start pushing it for a couple of weeks. So, if you happen to win before I even start pushing it, then props to you! But you have some time...but that doesn't mean that I wouldn't appreciate your support with both Cosmo and the blog now :) The thank you gift that the winner will receive is going to be a pack of flash tattoos of their choice. If you remember, I blogged about these. LOVE them! You will, too.
Leaving you with a couple words of inspiration today:
I'm staying in town this weekend instead of going to the A&M game (Go Rebs!) so hopefully the quiet weekend will allow me to crank out the posts for you guys that have been in my drafts folder forever.
Have a great night!
