Hey readers! It's been a while since I've done a personal post, so I thought I'd go ahead and catch you up on my weekend...and of course, ask about yours! What did y'all do this weekend?
As for me, it was a pretty quiet bye week for us Ole Miss Rebels. I had a lot of football to watch on TV, though, all of which worked in my favor...the Rebels are still alive in the SEC West! Thank you Bama for beating State, and thank you Georgia for beating Auburn! (Even though it pained me to root for Bama and not root for Auburn...War Eagle all the way). I woke up happy this morning to have moved up in the rankings.
I ate a ton of good food this weekend...way more calories than my body needed to consume and way more dollars than my bank account needed to shed. The best meal I had? Chicken tenders, hushpuppies, and rotel fries at Taylor Grocery.
I finally watched Taken 2 for the first time this weekend; I'd never seen either of the Taken movies. SO GOOD! I need to watch the first one now. I also ate a lot of Ben and Jerry's ice cream...Half Baked is the BEST.
Also watched the new 50 Shades of Grey trailer. Dad, stop reading here. I'm definitely going to read the books, and the "Crazy in Love" remake by Sofia Karlberg won't get out of my head...but I'm cool with that. Download it if you haven't already. And go watch that trailer.
I also had a couple of great quotes shared with me this weekend, that of course I'd like to share with you! ...
I wrapped up the weekend with Sunday night Mass. I love my church in Oxford, St. John the Evangelist. The only Catholic church in town. Father Joe is so funny!!! Mass was exactly what I needed after stressing out recently about all kinds of things that are giving me anxiety. I was lucky to grow up with parents who instilled faith in me like they did. It was a good evening.
So if you read my last post, you're cracking up because I have completely contradicted myself about trying to be healthier. Starting tomorrow? You're also laughing because only Anna Larimore could figure out a way to combine fried catfish, Catholic Mass, and 50 Shades of Grey into one blog post. But hey...this is my life! Always interesting!
Be sure to keep reading my Go Global blog here. I've been working really hard, but I haven't forgotten about y'all.
Lots of love ...
